If there were no condoms, they would have indulged in their desire.
Seo Seung-hyun withdrew his lips from Lee Young-jin’s neck and instead kissed his lips passionately. Their lips parted and then came together again. Lee Young-jin accepted the intense and wild kiss without resistance, like a reciprocation for the long and passionate lovemaking they had shared.
The afterglow was as long-lasting as the prolonged affair.
Seo Seung-hyun tenderly caressed Lee Young-jin’s wet body for a long time. The traces of pheromones lingered for even longer. Even after Lee Young-jin had finally lost consciousness, the scent tantalizingly remained, igniting desire within Seo Seung-hyun’s body. He held the exhausted Lee Young-jin in his arms, gently touching and exploring his body. He buried his nose in Lee Young-jin’s neck and took deep breaths.
Describing pheromones by their scent is an outdated and scientifically incorrect habit of alphas.
But what did it matter?
At this moment, the pheromones seemed to stick to every single cell of Seo Seung-hyun’s body, stimulating his olfactory receptors or perhaps interacting with the endocrine system to cause chemical reactions in his brain.

As usual, Lee Young-jin woke up from his slumber feeling a faint chill.
He reached out with his hand and felt the indentation on the sheets next to him. The heavy weight was gone, leaving behind a vague warmth. As he realized that the warmth was slowly dissipating, he fully regained consciousness.
Seo Seung-hyun was gone.
Lee Young-jin was still naked. He struggled to get up from the bed and made his way to the dressing room. After opening each sliding door of the large wardrobe that occupied one wall, he finally found a drawer with clothes that he presumed to be his. He pulled out a pair of underwear and managed to slip his feet into them, although his knees felt weak and he almost stumbled. His joints and bones felt like they could turn into liquid and flow away. The area around his belly button, which had been severely pounded was throbbing with pain. Yesterday’s sex had been just as harsh as the day before. Even though it wasn’t the heat season, that had been inserted inside him so deeply, so forcefully… Lee Young-jin felt his face burning and gently caressed his lower abdomen with his hand. The dull ache didn’t go away, and his body felt heavy and sluggish. He had never experienced an alpha taking him so deep, as he had never gone through a heat, nor was he ever going to. If the Alpha tried to do it again next time, he would have to ask him not to… Lee Young-jin thought to himself, feeling uncertain.
When he opened the bedroom door, the soft scent of coffee and the sound of a voice greeted him. It was Seo Seung-hyun’s voice. The deep and powerful tone spoke calmly, neither too fast nor too slow.
Lee Young-jin’s face turned beet red. He had overslept again. He quickly pushed open the bedroom door and stepped outside.
Seo Seung-hyun was standing in the spacious living room. He was still in his suit pants, with his crisp white shirt neatly tucked in, and he hadn’t put on his tie yet. His right hand held a cell phone, and the other hand held a disposable cup, from which the warmth and aroma of coffee emanated.
The TV was on, but the volume was turned down to the minimum, so the morning news anchor was moving her lips soundlessly.
Upon spotting Lee Young-jin, Seo Seung-hyun glanced at him briefly before diverting his gaze.
“No, we won’t go to Panama. Don’t you know the Financial Supervisory Service is investigating there right now? The 1 trillion won that Director Kwon gave us is from money laundered through Panama. Everyone knows it by now. Why would I go there? By this time, Black must have everything set up, eagerly waiting for me. Haha! If CEO Yang wants to meet me, he can come to Bogota himself.”
Seo Seung-hyun spoke in a cheerful and lively tone, but his eyes remained cold.
“A cartel? Hahaha! CEO Yang told you to convey that message? Is he trying to threaten me?”
Lee Young-jin couldn’t understand some of the words that followed. A few cordial exchanges occurred before Seo Seung-hyun ended the call. He casually stuffed his smartphone into the back pocket of his pants and nonchalantly placed the disposable coffee cup on the sofa armrest. Then, without even sparing another glance at Lee Young-jin, he walked back into the bedroom.
Lee Young-jin watched Seo Seung-hyun’s disappearing figure for a moment before turning his attention to the disposable cup precariously resting on the sofa. The leather of the sofa seemed elastic enough, but he felt uneasy about leaving the cup perched on the armrest like that.
He hurriedly picked up the cup from the sofa.
It was still warm.
He stood there with the cup in his hand, contemplating whether he should follow Seo Seung-hyun into the bedroom to hand it back to him or wait for him here. Luckily, he didn’t have to ponder over it for long.
Seo Seung-hyun walked briskly out of the bedroom. He was dressed impeccably in his usual attire. The previously unbuttoned sleeves were now neatly secured with sapphire-studded cufflinks, and a conservative necktie with a navy base and white diagonal pattern adorned his perfectly-tied sapphire tiepin. The well-tailored vest tightly hugged his back and waist, showcasing his slender figure. His hair was perfectly in place, revealing a cool forehead and thick eyebrows.
Carrying his coat and jacket on his left arm, he approached Lee Young-jin without hesitation and snatched the disposable cup from his hand. Then, with his hand that held the cup, he lightly tapped Lee Young-jin’s cheek, as if caressing it. The back of his hand lingered for a few seconds near the jawline before briefly leaving a faint red mark on the pale skin. The mark stood out conspicuously against the untouched skin. Seo Seung-hyun smiled teasingly and withdrew his hand.
Still not understanding, Lee Young-jin blinked his eyes in response, and his thick eyelashes fluttered slightly.
“Why?”
“It’s nothing.”
Seo Seung-hyun’s smile deepened as he subtly lowered the corners of his eyes.
“Just stay put.”
“Are you leaving?”
“Yes.”
“Well, then I…”
Lee Young-jin was about to ask what he should do and how long he should wait here, but Seo Seung-hyun turned away the moment his lips trembled. His phone started vibrating again. He deftly pulled out the phone with his coat and jacket-clad arm and answered the call.
“Received a call. No, the morning meeting will proceed as planned. Haha, of course. It doesn’t matter since I’ll be on vacation starting tomorrow. Yes, that’s right. See you in a bit.”
Before Seo Seung-hyun could even put his phone down, the front door opened. Standing tall like a pine tree, Jang Young-hee took his coat and jacket from him. The door closed again, and the sound of the auto door lock echoed with a beep.
Left behind, Lee Young-jin stared blankly at the closed door.
It took him about a minute to snap out of his daze.
The winter sunlight, filtered through the broad floor-to-ceiling windows, slowly brightened the living room. On the TV set to the news channel, an older female anchor wordlessly moved her lips in sync with the muted sound. Lee Young-jin fumbled around, searching for the remote control to turn off the TV. It was wedged into the corner of the large sofa, just as Seo Seung-hyun had casually left it while turning on the TV. After all, in this vast living room, there was only a TV and a sofa, and there was no other place to leave anything.
As he took a step toward the sofa to pick it up, his gaze casually swept across the news ticker scrolling rapidly at the bottom of the screen.
